Sinking Plastic

Mini-documentary created to help reduce plastic pollution in our oceans.

Sinking Plastic Mini-Doc

A film about how easy it could be to keep plastic out of our oceans.

This mini-doc was a collaboration with photographer/director David Martinez, who also co-shot the piece. Our aim was simple: tell positive, beautiful stories about people who have decided to use less plastic, especially single-use plastics like straws and disposable water bottles.

Directed and Co-Shot by Photographer David Martinez

The name Sinking Plastic refers to our goal of reducing plastic use, but also to the place where much of our disposable plastic ends up – oceans and beaches. People and organizations like Surfrider Foundation work to keep coastlines clean, safe, and enjoyable for all.
